COLOUR TYPES
SGI’s color type and traditional color trade name are assembled on Color Codex System alongside the natural gemstone color master set. Since there are boundaries between color varieties of gemstones, we face hardships to label exact color grades. Therefore, SGI gemological laboratory has formed internal standards such as light source, cutting, clarity, saturation, tone, chemistry and spectroscopy to unfailingly provide details of gemstones on our reports.
